During each lab, even when no report is expected, you will have to take minimal notes in your lab logbook.

All you need to know as an introduction to uncertainties and error analysis for your lab reports. Uncertainty assessment makes the real distinction between a good scientist and an average one.

Using Excel to plot your graphs:

Although microsoft excel is not the best software to graph and analyse data, it is the most widespread and readily available alternative we will have for this class. In this section you will find the basics on how to create a quality scientific graph using Excel.
